Digital Drafts
Here are my initial digital drafts for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. These are just ideas of how to lay out the magazine pages. I will improve them and change them as I make the real ones. This is so I can work out what works better together, resulting in multiple digital drafts for each page. I have used a basic colour scheme - not because I am using these colours on my magazine, but because it will be easier to colour code what convention is what. The text boxes are filled yellow, image boxes are filled blue and quotes are filled purple. I haven't gone into detail for each convention, for example, using a separate colour for the plug, skyline, footer, feature stories, masthead, etc as most of that is only within the cover page and there are only one example of most of them.
